At this point my honest guess is that there will be a slight drop in power below the 6000rpm mark with an increase after. To be as objective as possible my plans are to take my car to a local dyno and have the results posted up at the end of this page along side a graph of my same setup with the stock A6 (PM6) intake manifold.
If you are still running a stock ECU then the gains will not be fully realized since the factory fuel cutoff is set at 7200rpms. On a full throttle run there is a definitely noticeable increase in power right around 6000rpms right through until roughly 7800rpms or so. With my particular set up it didn't seem to make any difference for everyday driving which makes sense since, from what I understand, the fatter runners actually reduce the velocity of the air coming into the combustion chamber. Before you start, you must realize that by design this particular intake manifold may shift your powerband drastically if you do not have complimenting components installed in conjuction at the same time.
